The Project

The lightweight Inflatable Re-entry and Descent Technology (IRDT) has been demonstrated within a Babakin Space Center, EADS SPACE Transportation, ESA/ESTEC and ISTC/EU program. This technology is designed to reduce the mass and cost of future Earth and planetary re-entry systems.

	On-board data handling system OBDH

	Telemetry and Telecommand Unit TMTC with integrated GPS receiver


	Power Control and Distribution Unit PCU



	High precission high speed temperature and pressure messure device and recorder for re-entry systems



	Digital video tape recorder for harsh environment
