How to assign a Drop Off to a collar

Please note: You need Owner permissions or Device Manager permissions for the Drop Off and the Collar you want to assign.

1. Navigate to Devices
2. Select Drop Offs from the submenu
3. Click on the three-dot icon in the Drop Off row to edit its assignment
4. Select the option “Attach this drop off to a collar”
5. Select the collar you want to assign to the Drop Off from the Select Collar dropdown menu
6. Click on the Submit button to save your changes
   

Please note: The collar selection displayed under the Select Collar dropdown menu (Step 5) depends on your INVENTA permissions for the collars and their collar type. So if you are missing a collar here, make sure that you have owner permissions or device manager permissions for the collar or that its collar type is compatible with your selected Drop Off.

How to unassign a Drop Off from a collar

Please note: You need Owner permissions or Device Manager permissions for the Drop Off and the Collar you want to unassign.

1. Navigate to Devices
2. Select Drop Offs from the submenu
3. Click on the three-dot icon in the Drop Off row to edit its assignment
4. Select the option “Detach this drop off from its collar”
